Pink hits out at David Cameron

Pink has hit out at Tory leader David Cameron over his comments about hip-hop.

The politician recently claimed that rap and hip-hop music in England "encourages people to carry guns and knives", a sentiment that Pink considers ridiculous.

“I’d love to know what he is basing that on," said the 25-year-old. “That’s not the way to get to the kids. It’s an easy stereotype – almost too easy. That’s how they felt about The Beatles and Mick Jagger in the 1960s – that they were making the ‘devil’s music’.”
