Imogen Thomas: 'Tina Malone is a mother figure'

Imogen Thomas has revealed that Tina Malone supported her through the Ryan Giggs scandal.

The Big Brother star said the Shameless actress became a "mother figure" and prevented her from turning to alcohol after receiving death threats.

"Tina's been a mother figure for me," Thomas told the Daily Star. "She's got strong opinions, which I value, and I feel like she has really helped me land back on my feet."

The pair met while filming a celebrity version of Come Dine With Me.



"Lovely girls like Imogen fall for footballers who think they're untouchable because of their humungous wages," Malone added.

"She made a mistake by seeing a married man, but why do women always get the worst deal? The man gets a pat on the back, while the girl ends up being pilloried."

Thomas, who is now dating City trader Adam Horsley, was recently vindicated after accusations she'd blackmailed Giggs were dropped.

She is said to have had a six-month affair with the footballer, who sought a gagging order to protect his identity when the press discovered the relationship.
