Sandra Bernhard: 'I've never been a fan of Kathy Griffin'

Sandra Bernhard has claimed that Kathy Griffin should find a "new angle" for her comedy.
The stand-up defended her own approach to jokes, claiming that Griffin fails to "absorb" popular culture and distil it into something interesting.
"I've never been a fan of Kathy Griffin - you know that. Every time she sees me, she hides," Bernhard said during an appearance on Naughty But Nice with Rob.
"If I saw her, I would tell her to find a new angle. Just to say someone is stupid, that's not crafting an idea. I think things through. I absorb culture and put it out in layers."
Bernhard previously accused Griffin of copying her, saying that she prefers a "more sophisticated" brand of comedy.
Earlier this year, Bernhard admitted that she is "on the sexual fence" and would not have a problem being in a relationship with a man or a woman.
