A week after the Australian Olympic swimmer's representative announced that she was no longer in a relationship with former Wallabies player Cooper, Rice posted a raunchy picture of herself on her Twitter page.
Alongside the image that shows her in a red swimsuit, 23-year-old Rice wrote: "Trying out my new app colour splash."
The former couple's separation was revealed when her manager Titus Day told The Daily Telegraph: "Stephanie has officially split with Quade and will be focusing 100% on her Olympic preparation." Various sources added that the split had "been coming for a while".
Shortly after the split, Cooper was banned from a pub on Stradbroke Island after a drinking session with his Queensland Reds teammates. A spokesperson for the team said: "Following allegations of misconduct, Queensland Rugby has fully investigated the matter and is satisfied Cooper's alleged actions do not warrant official disciplinary action.
"We have been advised by Stradbroke Island police that no action was warranted over the alleged incident, no charges will be laid and no further investigation is necessary."
Rice was previously in a relationship with fellow swimming champion Eamon Sullivan and was also romantically linked to Nick D'Arcy in 2010.
