One of the charges dates back to an incident in Chichester, West Sussex, in May 2011. A second man, 21-year-old Tyrelle Ritchie, was also charged with one count of sexual assault. The second rape charge relates to an incident in Yeovil, Somerset, which is said to have occurred between September 25 and 26, 2010.

Appearing at Chichester Crown Court, both men denied the charges. They were granted conditional bail and will stand trial on August 13.
