Lara Bingle shows support for ex Michael Clarke during cricket match

Lara Bingle has shown her support for ex-fiancé Michael Clarke.

The Australian swimwear model, who split from Clarke in 2010 following a nude photograph scandal, took to her Twitter page to express her pride as the cricketer claimed his first triple century during a Test cricket match against India on Thursday (January 5).

As Clarke reached 150 runs, Bingle initially wrote: "Best captain in the world "MClarke23 whoop whoop," followed by: "Anticipation! Arrrrhhh it's killing me (sic)!"

She later added: "In the words of my dad, well done son. Couldn't be prouder, wish we were both there." Bingle's father Graham passed away in 2008, shortly after Clarke proposed to her.

The sports star has been dating Jim Beam Dilemma girl Kyly Boldy for about a year. Boldy cheered from the stands at the stadium yesterday and also wrote on her Twitter page: "So extremely proud "MClarke23!!!!! And well deserved." She later said: "Thank you everyone for all your support and beautiful congrats messages. It's been a few days that will never be forgotten!"

Late last year, Bingle revealed that she is still friends with Clarke, adding: "We talk a lot... he was a massive part of my life. I don't follow cricket all the time but since he has been captain I am his number one supporter."
