Jay-Z has been accused of using an interior designer's work without permission in his club.
The rapper and entrepreneur employed Ilan Waisbod to plan the interior of his 40/40 Club in Manhattan. He also used the same layout, including flat-screen televisions, hanging chairs and a high-security safe to store cognac, in a second club in Atlantic City and had plans to replicate it at other venues in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Singapore.
However, Waisbod has now filed a law suit as he claims their agreement only permitted the star to use the design in the New York club, the New York Post reports.
