Johnny Depp 'consulting lawyers over Vanessa Paradis troubles'

Johnny Depp has allegedly been seeking legal advice over the apparent breakdown of his 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

Sources say the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, who has children Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9, with Paradis, is no longer able to "hide how badly things are going".

"Johnny isn't handling anything well right now," the Daily Mail quotes an insider as saying. "Johnny has started reaching out to lawyers, probably to quietly discuss how to get out of the relationship.

"They're not married but they've been together for years and have kids together so it isn't as easy as just breaking up. Johnny is so talented at acting, but he doesn't seem able to hide how badly things are going right now."

Depp recently described meeting Paradis as a real "accomplishment", saying: "I saw Vanessa across a room - and I first saw only her back! But I immediately thought, 'That's the woman for me'."

Back in November, the couple teamed up to record a duet of Serge Gainsbourg track 'Ballade De Melody Nelson' for an album dedicated to the late French singer.
