Bryan Ferry marries fashion PR girlfriend Amanda Sheppard

Bryan Ferry has married his partner Amanda Sheppard at an intimate wedding at the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Roxy Music frontman, 66, wed the 30-year-old fashion PR Sheppard on January 4 at the Amanyara resort.

The pair first met in 2009 after being introduced by one of his sons. Ferry's spokesperson said that it was a "simple private ceremony".

Ferry divorced from his first wife Lucy Helmore in 2003 after 21 years. They have four sons together - Merlin, Tara, Isaac and Otis.

Of the age gap between him and Sheppard, Ferry previously said: "You never meet people your own age who aren't married. Unless they are divorcees knocking about, that sort of thing."

The Olympia singer received a CBE for his services to music from the Queen in November.
