A jar of Vegemite, a sleeping bag, a soft toy and a ballpoint pen were among the gifts received by Prince William and Kate Middleton on their overseas trips last year.
The royal couple's first official gift list has been revealed by Clarence House, showing the items collected during visits to Australia, New Zealand, America and Canada.

Hats were the most popular gift given, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge receiving various types of headwear. Among those were a selection of baseball caps, an Akubra hat, a flying helmet and two cowboy hats.
William returned from a March 2011 trip to Australia with gifts including books, scented soaps and hand towels, a wooden mantel clock and trinket box, and carved and inscribed building fragments from the Christchurch earthquake.
The document, published by St. James's Palace, names heads of state, members of foreign royal families and public officials who gave gifts, but does not publicly reveal individuals or members of the public's names.

During their 10-day trip to the US and Canada last summer, William and Kate received presents including an address book, a tartan waistcoat, a wicker flower basket, a knitted prayer shawl, a caricature poster and numerous books and soft toys.
The 14-page file shows that the governor of California gave an iPad, while the chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures presented the couple with a framed film still.
