Kate Winslet in St John ads: "You don't have to be a size 2" - video

Kate Winslet has insisted that women do not have to be a size 2 to dress nicely.

The Carnage actress is the face of the spring campaign for St John. In a new video for the collection, Winslet praises the clothing for flattering "women with a shape".

"You don't have to be a size 2, or even a size 4, to be able to wear these garments," Winslet says. "They fall so well and are cut for women with a shape. And of course I love that. That's me all over."

The actress goes on to say that women have responded favourably to her campaign.

"A lot of women say they believe they could wear a particular dress or a pair of pants or a sweater because they have seen that I am able to wear those pieces," she says. "It is really important to be able to dress in clothes quickly that look effortless and feel comfortable."

Winslet recently said that it is weird to see Titanic returning to the big screen.

The actress will visit the wreck of Titanic this year with Richard Branson.
