Meg Mathews has gone into rehab in attempt to overcome depression.

After supporting friend Kate Moss during her battle with cocaine last year, the professional party planner decided to cut short a holiday in Ibiza to enter London's Charter Nightingale Clinic for treatment. In the meantime, Mathew's daughter with Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher is being cared for by the stars mother Peggy.

A friend told the Mirror: "She lives for her daughter and knew she had to get help. There was no other option but to go into rehab. Meg reached rock bottom in Ibiza. After one heavy night out she knew she needed to get help."

"Since she and Noel split she hasn't found lasting love. But she's taking control now and is determined to turn over a new leaf. She has also seen Kate come through rehab, so she knows she can do it, too," the source added.
