Jennifer Hudson has offered parenting advice to new mother Beyoncé.
Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z welcomed their first child, a daughter named Blue Ivy Carter, in New York City on Saturday (January 7).

Hudson, who is mother to 2-year-old son David, gave her tips to her Dreamgirls co-star during a Good Housekeeping press event on Tuesday (January 10).
"Girl, get your sleep! We talked about this when I had my munchkin. It goes so fast. She's going to look up and [Blue]'s going to be six months. Next thing you know, she's going to be walking," Hudson said.
"Embrace it. Especially because of the lives we live, a lot of times other people have to care for themselves and you have to have that mommy time."
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are said to have brought Blue Ivy home from the hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The couple revealed earlier this week that the baby was born naturally, dispelling rumours of a scheduled Caesarian section.
