Stephen Fry is the celebrity that most Brits would want as PM

Stephen Fry has been named as the celebrity that most British people would like to see become prime minister, according to an online poll on Digital Spy.
Following tentative steps into politics from Eric Cantona, Youssou N'Dour and Wyclef Jean, we asked you which famous British figure you fancied as our very own PM.
Almost 3,500 people voted in our poll, and comedian, author and presenter Fry came out on top with 21.1%

Controversial Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson came in second place with 13%, while Ab Fab star and friend of the Ghurka cause Joanna Lumley was third with 8.6%. Harry Potter author JK Rowling and The Apprentice star Lord Alan Sugar also fared well in the vote.
The full top ten was as follows:
1. Stephen Fry - 21.1%
2. Jeremy Clarkson - 13.0%
3. Joanna Lumley - 8.6%
4. Alan Sugar - 6.5%
5. JK Rowling - 5.2%
6. Simon Cowell - 4.8%
7. Hugh Grant - 4.1%
8. Trevor McDonald - 3.5%
9. Adele - 3.3%
10. David Beckham - 3.3%
