Haley Joel Osment is facing charges including driving under the influence after crashing his car.

The Sixth Sense star lost control of his car while driving late at night in Los Angeles last month.

A spokeswoman for the LA district attorney informed People magazine that Osment's blood-alcohol content was found to be double the legal limit. The actor has also been charged for possession of marijuana while driving and being under the age of 21 and driving with a .05 percent blood alcohol content.

The actor will appear in court next month to face the charges, and in the meantime will have to pay £8,000 bail. If convicted, he could face six months in a county jail.
