The Gavin & Stacey star claimed he will be "too busy" to marry his fiancée after his West End play One Man, Two Guvnors moves to New York in April.
"I'm not getting married just yet, I'm too busy working," he told The People. "I'm off to New York in a few months. There is just too much going on.
"Going to America is the best prize so fingers crossed it will work out on Broadway. I will be taking my family with me which will be amazing but it has meant we'll have to marry when we get back. We haven't set a date yet."
Corden proposed to Carey on Christmas Day 2010. The couple welcomed their first child Max in March last year.
The comedian revealed that he wanted celebrity friend David Beckham to act as his best man.
