Bruce Jenner treated for skin cancer

Bruce Jenner has undergone surgery to remove a cancerous growth on his face, according to sources.

The Kardashian family patriarch was seen with a scar at an LA Lakers basketball game on Monday (January 16).

The appearance prompted rumours that Jenner had undergone cosmetic surgery, though it has since been revealed that the 62-year-old was actually recovering from a medical procedure on Friday (January 13).

Dermatologists removed a flared patch of skin from his face, which a biopsy later found to be cancerous.

TMZ says that Jenner's condition was caught in time and he is back in good health. He has, however, been prohibited from going out in the sun without a hat.

Jenner recently expressed a desire to follow in the footsteps of stepchildren Kim Kardashian and Rob Kardashian by competing in Dancing with the Stars.
