The British royal is set to join the charity group Walking With the Wounded for a spring ascent, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Mollie Hughes, a 21-year-old who hopes to become the youngest British woman to climb the mountain, told the website that Harry is not likely to make the full climb.
"He won't be doing the full climb as it will take a long time and it requires rigorous training so I think he'll be joining at a base camp," she said.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on whether the Prince will be able to make the climb.
"It will all depend on his Army commitments," Harry's spokesperson said.
He previously joined the charity group last year for a trek to the North Pole.
In December, Harry reportedly rushed to help a friend who was mugged while they were speaking on the phone.
