The 'Just The Way You Are' singer has been cleared of the charges after a year-long probation period.
Judge Jessie Walsh agreed with his attorneys that he had successfully stayed out of trouble and paid his $2,000 fine, performed 200 hours of community service and attended eight hours of drug counselling.
The Grammy-winning musician's criminal record has been wiped, having secured a plea bargain in February last year.
The 26-year-old was originally charged with the offence in October 2010 after a hotel employee apparently caught him with 2.6 grams of the illegal substance a month earlier.
Last year, Mars insisted that he does not aim to be a role model to his fans.
