Beyoncé birth interview with 'Star' magazine branded 'fake'

A so-called "world exclusive" interview with Beyoncé has been described as "fake" by her representatives.

The UK's Star magazine recently published the singer's supposed "first interview" since giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter in New York earlier this month.
The 'Love On Top' singer reportedly discusses information about the birth itself and says that husband Jay-Z will be a "hands-on dad" in the interview.
However, her spokeswoman told Access Hollywood that the interview was "completely made up".
Star editor Anna Pointer responded: "It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the US, who conducted the interview with Beyoncé before the birth.
"The reporter then obtained the 'top-up' info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team."
The claims come on the same day that the ongoing Leveson Inquiry heard from celebrity magazine editors about press standards.
Among them included Hello's Rosie Nixon, who faced questions about an interview with JK Rowling that was dubbed "rare and exclusive", where in fact the quotes had arisen from a meeting with a group of children as part of Comic Relief.
