Jay-Z has reportedly thrown an extravagant party in New York to celebrate the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy.
The rapper toasted wife Beyoncé and their newborn child at the relaunch of his nightclub 40/40 this week.

P Diddy, Alicia Keys and Alex Rodriguez were among the celebrity partygoers, while 50 Cent was apparently barred from attending after he mocked Blue Ivy's birth by tweeting pictures of a baby with Jay-Z's head.
"Security was phenomenal, with guests being frisked at the door and people going through metal detectors to make sure no weapons were brought in for the club's grand reopening," an insider told The Mirror.
The main attraction at the venue was a lofty 350 glass champagne tower topped with a figurine of a stork carrying a baby.
"All that preparation must have been thirsty work," the source quipped. "Nothing like that has ever been created before. It was a bit OTT but he's mad about his daughter. There's nothing he wouldn't do for her. You'd expect nothing less from the richest man in rap."
It has been claimed that Jay Z will continue to use the word "bitch" in his music after the birth of Blue Ivy, contrary to recent reports.
An apparent "world exclusive" birth interview with Beyoncé recently published in a UK magazine was this week exposed as fake. The singer has been keeping a relatively low profile since the arrival of Blue Ivy.
