Lady GaGa, 'Glee', 'The Voice' among GLAAD Media Award nominees

Lady GaGa, Glee and The Voice are among the nominees for the 23rd annual GLAAD Media Awards.

Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family,Torchwood: Miracle Day, Glee reality spinoff The Glee Project, J. Edgar and The Voice contestant Beverly McClellan were also among the nominees, announced this morning (Thursday, January 18).

Chaz Bono, the Christopher Plummer movie Beginners and Dancing with the Stars were also recognised, while Ricky Martin was among the Spanish language nominees for his album Musica + Alma + Sexo.

The GLAAD Media Awards "recognise and honour media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives".

Awards will be handed out at three different ceremonies: New York on March 24, Los Angeles on April 21, and San Francisco on June 2.
