'Glee's Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison join George Clooney in play '8'

Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison will join George Clooney in a one-off performance on Dustin Lance Black's gay marriage play 8.
8 tells the story of the struggle to legalise same-sex marriage in California by overturning the controversial Proposition 8.
Clooney and Martin Sheen will play attorneys David Boies and Theodore B Olson, while Morrison and Matt Bomer will portray the gay couple who challenged the controversial law.
Lynch is to star as National Organisation for Marriage founder Maggie Gallagher, who led the charge against legalising gay marriage.
The special performance of 8 will also feature Jamie Lee Curtis, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Yeardley Smith and George Takei.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the American Foundation for Equal Rights.
The fundraising premiere of 8 is to be held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles on March 3.
