Brooke Mueller 'offered no plea deal' in cocaine case

Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller will not be offered a plea deal in her cocaine possession case, it has been reported.

The 34-year-old actress was arrested in December after being discovered with 4g of the Class A drug on a trip to Aspen, Colorado.

Muller's representative previously declared that he expected the charges to be dropped, but it has now been revealed that the star may not even have the chance to strike a deal with a judge.

"No deal has been discussed," Huffington Post quotes Aspen County District Attorney Arnold Mordkin as saying. "A motion to continue the arraignment to March 5 was filed."

Mueller faces a maximum of seven years in prison if found guilty of assault in the third degree and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

It was suggested last month that Mueller could escape jail altogether and be put on probation due to the relatively small amount of cocaine she had.

She is currently undergoing treatment in a "long-term" rehab centre.
