Seal addresses Heidi Klum split: 'Our love and respect hasn't changed'

Seal has insisted that his split from wife Heidi Klum is amicable.
The couple confirmed plans to end their seven-year marriage on Sunday (January 22) after rumours began circulating earlier this month that they were heading for divorce.
Appearing on The Tavis Smiley Show on Monday (January 23), the 'Kiss From a Rose' singer opened up about the split, saying that there is no bad blood between himself and Klum and insisting that he still loves the Project Runway host very much.
"We're just not those kind of people - we never really have been," Seal explained. "We've never been attracted to [negativity]. Of course it's a difficult situation that we have to handle right now and it's never easy. In terms of our love and respect for each other, that hasn't changed at all.
"Just because you decide to separate, I don't think you all of [a] sudden stop loving each other. I don't think you all of [a] sudden stop becoming friends."
Klum's father Gunther Klum has expressed disappointment over the split, calling it "very sad" that the pair's relationship is ending.
