Kevin Federline released from hospital after heart scare

Kevin Federline has been released from an Australian hospital following his heart scare earlier this week.

Britney Spears's ex-husband apparently began suffering heart pains while filming scenes for the Australian weight loss reality series Excess Baggage.

Federline was reportedly checked out by on-set paramedics and then rushed to a nearby medical centre to undergo a series of tests.

Excess Baggage producer Fremantle Media has now confirmed that the star has been released from doctors' care and did not suffer a heart attack as first feared.

Fremantle Media said in a statement: "Kevin Federline has been given the all-clear after spending the day in medical care… After more tests, he was released late last night. Kevin is now at home with his family and will undergo further investigation with a cardiologist today. He is expected to be back on set Friday."

Federline was previously hospitalised from exhaustion while filming Excess Baggage in December.

The 'Lose Control' rapper and girlfriend Victoria Prince welcomed a daughter named Jordan Kay in August 2011.
