Joan Rivers: 'Chelsea Handler thinks she's terrific'

Joan Rivers has fired back at Chelsea Handler for comments she made during a recent radio interview.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Handler responded to criticism she previously received from Rivers.

She said: "Joan Rivers? What the f**k do I care about Joan Rivers? I don't think about her ever."



Rivers later commented that she is not impressed by Handler or her particular brand of comedy, as the younger comedian seems unnecessarily full of herself.

"I don't know her but the few times we've met she's been very grand and very happy to be Chelsea," Rivers told The Huffington Post.

"I mean come on, you're lucky you've got a mouth. I just don't like people who think they're terrific."

In November, Handler signed a new deal with E! which guarantees the return of her late night talkshow Chelsea Lately for two more years.
