Melissa McCarthy has vowed to make a better impression on Damages star Glenn Close should they meet again.
The Bridesmaids actress, who picked up an Oscar nomination in the 'Best Supporting Actress' category for her work in the film, said that she hopes to come face to face with Close again at the ceremony next month.

"I hope I can figure out something else to say to Glenn Close other than 'Holy s**t, you're Glenn Close'," McCarthy explained to People.
"I just think she makes beautiful, smart, perfect decisions in her characters and roles she plays. She looms very large to me."
McCarthy confessed that she felt embarrassed after her first meeting with Close at the 2012 Golden Globe awards last month, adding: "If I get to re-meet her, I hope I say something that's not as jackass-y."
It was recently reported that Universal will produce a Bridesmaids sequel, though McCarthy has said that she would not reprise her role as Megan without the involvement of co-writer and star Kristen Wiig.
