Brad Pitt: 'I won't be able to hold out from marrying Angelina Jolie'

Brad Pitt has revealed that he and longtime partner Angelina Jolie may marry in the near future.
While the couple have previously said that they won't tie the knot until gay marriage is legalised, the Moneyball actor has since confessed that he finds it "ludicrious" not to make such a commitment to the person he is in love with.

"We'd actually like to [get married] and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out," Pitt told The Hollywood Reporter.
"It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment. I'm not going to go any further. But to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous."
Pitt went on to reveal that while he and Jolie are already parents to six children, they would not rule out the possibility of welcoming more to their family in the future.
"We haven't closed the book on it. There's a really nice balance in the house right now, but if we see the need and get that lightning bolt that says, 'We can help this person; we could do something here,' then absolutely," he said.
Jolie and Pitt's friends denied rumours of an impending wedding in July 2011.
