Jon Bon Jovi has branded living in Hollywood "a rotten existence", and is threatening never to act again.

The singer has appeared in many film and television roles during his time as a musician, the most recent appearances including The West Wing and Pucked.

But now Bon Jovi has decided it is too exasperating making films, and will concentrate on his band in the future.

He said: "It's a pretty rotten existence to be in. It is a lot better for me being the director, producer and star when you make a record than it is to go and stand in that long line and wait for your audition."
