The 'Countdown' singer gave birth to the baby girl in New York City on January 7 in what she later revealed to be a natural delivery.
According to Media Takeout, Beyoncé and Jay-Z chose Winfrey as they have become close friends with the talk show maven in recent years.
The couple are also said to have chosen Jay-Z's close friend Tyran 'Ty Ty' Smith as Blue Ivy's godfather.
The website reports that Beyoncé and Jay-Z wanted their daughter's godparents to be people who were not already in their immediate family.
Jay-Z recently threw an 'over the top' party at his New York City nightclub 40/40 to celebrate Blue Ivy's birth.
The pair are said to be already considering schools to send the child to when she reaches the right age.
