'EastEnders' Sid Owen 'given acting advice by Matt Damon'

EastEnders actor Sid Owen was reportedly spotted seeking advice from Matt Damon earlier this week.
The 40-year-old actor - who plays Ricky Butcher in the BBC soap - is said to have met the We Bought a Zoo actor during Lisa Snowdon's 40th birthday party in London.
A witness revealed that Owen approached Damon - who was having a conversation with Chris Hemsworth at the time - outside the toilets at Portland Place.
"Sid saw Matt and made a beeline for him straight away, telling him how much he loves his movies," the guest told The Mirror. "He introduced himself and said he was an actor too, telling him all about EastEnders.
"Matt, who was standing with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, looked a bit confused at first, but he was supportive and gave him some advice.
"He said to get in touch any time for help. Sid said the one thing left for him to do was have a stab at Hollywood and he couldn't wait to do that next."
Lisa Snowdon dated Matt Damon's friend and Ocean's Eleven co-star George Clooney on and off between 2000 and 2005.
