Lady GaGa, Stevie Wonder and Bono have wished a happy birthday to Ellen DeGeneres in a new video.

DeGeneres turned 54 on Thursday, January 26.

The clip combined each of the stars' messages, starting with Wonder who sang Happy Birthday while blowing on a harmonica.

It ended with GaGa thanking the talkshow host for inspiring her and "people all over the world to be themselves".

Other stars who wished DeGeneres a happy birthday were Sting, Meryl Streep, Black Eyed Peas, New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees and wife Brittany, Josh Duhamel, Ricky Gervais and Bono.

The female cast of Jersey Shore, Russell Brand, Vince Vaughn, Rob Lowe, Modern Family's Nolan Gould and Sofia Vergara, Lenny Kravitz, Kristin Chenoweth and Eddie Murphy also feature in the video.

DeGeneres was named one of the most admired women as well as one of the most googled gays and lesbians of 2011.

She was recently announced as a co-host along with American Idol's Randy Jackson for Brad Pitt's fundraiser to build homes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
