During an interview with Matt Lauer on Today on Monday (January 30), the American Idol judge was quizzed about tying the knot again following her split from former husband Marc Anthony in July 2011.
"I don't know," Lopez answered. "We'll see. I don't know. It's not time to think about that yet. It's still fresh."
Lopez also discussed partnering with Anthony on the new reality show Q'Viva: The Chosen only months after they separated in July 2011.
She admitted that working so closely with Anthony has its "difficult moments", but added that they both are committed to remaining friends for the sake of their children.
"Marc and I were friends before we got married. We were friends for years. And we always loved each other and we always worked together," Lopez explained. "So it wasn't an unnatural thing for us to continue to work together. And we have children together. So he's always going to be in my life."
The star later said: "At the end of the day, like I said, we're working together, we have a lot of love for each other and we're human. It's not the easiest thing in the world but I think we handle it with a lot of grace and a lot of caring and a lot of love."
Lopez has recently been linked with dancer Casper Smart. The pair were first linked in early November and romance rumours were further fuelled when they spent the Thanksgiving holiday together in Hawaii several weeks later.
Lopez has largely refrained from discussing their romance, but Smart did recently strike back at criticism of their age difference by insisting that the pair's 18-year gap is "irrelevant".
Q'Viva: The Chosen airs Saturdays at 7/6c on Univision.
