The country star slammed reports which surfaced earlier this week suggesting that she had tumbled to her death while shooting a movie in Austria.

"There is a rumour going around that I died after falling off a mountain in Austria yesterday while shooting a movie," McEntire wrote on her Twitter page on Tuesday (January 31).
"While I would love to be shooting a movie in Austria, I definitely did not fall off a mountain! Nor am I dead! I am alive and kicking!!! Most of you know this already because I've been giving you daily accounts of (son) Shelby's race. Oh well. Have a great day."
McEntire was recently announced as one of the 12 celebrities to appear in the third season of the NBC series Who Do You Think You Are, which premieres on Friday, February 3.
In 2011, McEntire was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the organisation's 'Modern Era Artist' category.
