Ronnie Wood rejects Bono's do-gooding

Ronnie Wood has rejected the charitable antics of fellow rockers Bono and Sir Bob Geldof.
The Rolling Stones guitarist said he thinks the pair's efforts to combat world poverty will prove fruitless.
The 59-year-old commented: "I would never go into politics like Bono. Geldof and him can keep trying until the end of the earth but it won't make a difference."
He maintained that the real job of a musician is to entertain. "I like to make people happy," he declared. "Politics doesn't do that. Art does."
