Miley Cyrus pays $127k up front for new Mercedes Benz

Miley Cyrus has apparently paid out over $127,000 (£80,173) on a new Mercedes Benz.

The LOL: Laughing Out Loud actress purchased the 2012 SL550 convertible from an Encino, California dealership last week, reports TMZ.

A source told the website that Cyrus paid for the vehicle up front rather than taking on a payment agreement.

The 19-year-old's bodyguard is said to have taken her old vehicle back to the house while Cyrus herself drove the Mercedes off the lot.

Earlier this month, it was claimed that Cyrus spent $50,000 to lose 15lbs before a trip to Hawaii with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

The 'Party in the USA' singer revealed this week that she cracked her tailbone while trying to do a flip onto her sofa.
