Mitch Winehouse has said that his family are "very shocked" by the suggestion that the inquest into Amy Winehouse's death may have been illegal.
It was revealed yesterday that the 'Back To Black' singer's loved ones are "taking advice" after it emerged that assistant deputy coroner Suzanne Greenway was not fully qualified when she oversaw the 27-year-old's case.

Greenway, who ruled in October that Amy died after consuming too much alcohol, was forced to step down last November when authorities discovered she had not been a registered UK lawyer for the five years required.
Speaking in the wake of the revelation, Mitch noted that the family are distressed by the prospect of a new inquiry into their daughter's passing.
"We were very shocked when we were informed the coroner was not suitably qualified," he told The Sun. "It's hard to believe her credentials weren't fully checked. You'd assume this sort of thing can't happen.
"We've been informed the coroner was taking guidance from more experienced professionals and the verdict doesn't appear to be in any doubt, but it's upsetting to have to go through all this again. We just hope that matters can be resolved soon."
Amy passed away at her Camden home on July 23 last year.
