Josie Capllonch has agreed to go on a date with rugby league player Sandor Earl.

The reality TV star, who was eliminated from Seven Network dating show Please Marry My Boy earlier this week, was allegedly shocked to discover that Penrith Panthers player Earl took a shine to her when he watched the show.

According to The Daily Telegraph - who initially told Capllonch about Earl's interest after getting confirmation of the crush from a Panthers spokesperson - Earl contacted Capllonch and asked her out on a date this Sunday.

Earlier this week, Capllonch revealed what she wants from a boyfriend, saying: "Honesty is important. And I'd like someone reliable. There are not really many reliable men around, unfortunately. And someone that can make me laugh and who is charming."

Since she was rejected from Please Marry My Boy, Capllonch said: "A lot of guys have been saying, 'My mum would approve [of you]'."

Please Marry My Boy, which is hosted by Home and Away actress Ada Nicodemou, airs on Mondays at 8.45pm on Seven.
