Ultimo creator Michelle Mone joins Can Associates

Michelle Mone OBE has signed to Can Associates Limited.

The businesswoman - co-owner of MJM International and creator of Briitain's leading designer lingerie brand, Ultimo - is listed as one of the top three female entrepreneurs in the UK and received her OBE honour from the Queen in 2010.

Claire Powell, managing director of the management company, said: "Michelle and I have been friends for years and I am so excited about working with her and helping move her career to greater heights."

Mone, 40, commented: "Claire is a very successful business woman who I have known for many years - I am really looking forward to working with her and her fantastic team at Can Associates Ltd.

"We will be working together on many exciting plans which include furthering my TV, publishing and commercial projects among other things."

The Glasgow-born mother-of-three confirmed that she split from her husband of 19 years in December. Describing it on Twitter as a "very difficult time", Mone thanked fans for their support.
