The 'Leave (Get Out)' singer recently told Yahoo that she is particularly attracted to men with an East Coast sensibility.
"Right now, I'm really into boys that look like they're from south Boston, kind of rough around the edges, but with good family values. Kind of like Mark Wahlberg," JoJo disclosed.
She added jokingly: "I like my Boston boys!"
JoJo also commented that she is excited to release her third studio album Jumping Trains this spring after spending the last few years focusing on other acting and music projects.
"I've never stopped recording, so it's kind of taken on a new shape as time has gone on," she said. "I'm still in the creative process. Whenever I'm inspired, I'll go in the studio and just lay down my thoughts [about] what's going on."
JoJo's last album The High Road cracked the top five on the US album chart in 2006.
