Alex Jones has described her rise to fame as a "whirlwind".
The Welsh presenter was chosen to host The One Show back in 2010 and has since gone on to compete in Strictly Come Dancing.
"The last 18 months have been a whirlwind. I'm the type of person who takes everything in my stride, and I try to stay calm, but it's been a massive change," Jones told The Mirror.

"The toughest part is making sure you don't get swept away. I'm enjoying the experience, but I'm here to do a job and I have to stay focused. I'm aware of how lucky I am and wouldn't take it for granted."
Speaking of former One Show hosts Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley's troubled move to ITV, she added: "Who knows what's gone on with them? I feel sorry for them as things obviously haven't panned out quite as they'd expected, but maybe they felt it was the right time to do other things - and who'd blame them for having had enough of the early starts?"
Jones recently admitted that she found it impossible to feel sexy on Strictly Come Dancing.
She will host Let's Dance for Sport Relief alongside Steve Jones from Saturday, February 18 on BBC One.
