Kat Von D makes celibacy vow

Kat Von D has said that she is abstaining from sex until she finds a suitable partner.

The LA Ink star revealed at a preview party for her 'New American Beauty Art' show in Los Angeles that she has taken time off from the casual dating game.

She said: "I am celibate so I am not really looking for a partner."

"I just feel like I am on a different path now, to be honest with you," the 29-year admitted, according to OK. "But, it's more like respect and the way I perceive love and true love to be. It's very sacred and much bigger then sex."

The star, who is working on a new book to be released next year, added: "I think to me it's just always - I look at my friends and the qualities that I love about them is that they are just themselves, you know."

Von D alleged in November that former fiancé Jesse James had cheated on her with 19 women.
