Neil Patrick Harris 'refuses to use baby talk'

Neil Patrick Harris has said that he disapproves of baby talk.

The How I Met Your Mother star revealed that he talks to his twin children like grown-up people.

"My parents always talked to my brother and myself like we were regular people and not babies," Harris told People.

"So I don't talk down to them in baby talk," he added. "I try to talk to them even though they can't speak the language yet."

Harris recently said that he enjoys using Twitter to connect with his fans, claiming the website permits him to share aspects of his life with the public in a more personal way.

The actor previously admitted that he struggles to balance his career and fatherhood, revealing that he relies on the help of an assistant to keep himself on track.
