Katy Perry 'flirts' with NFL star Cam Newton at awards show

The 'One That Got Away' singer joked about her newly-single status since splitting from Russell Brand while presenting an award with the Carolina Panthers star at the Indianapolis gala.
Perry told Newton: "You'll be the first straight man I've had a photo with in a long time, so live up to it."
"I am," Newton retorted with a smile.
Perry also joked about romancing another NFL star, Tim Tebow, at the NFL Honors event over the weekend.
The popstar has apparently been comforted by ex-boyfriend Travie McCoy since her estranged husband Brand filed for divorce in December.
Last week, it was reported that Brand is interested in romancing New Girl star Zooey Deschanel.
