Randy Travis arrested for public intoxication

The country singer was apprehended by authorities in Sanger, Texas on Monday in the parking lot outside of a church, reports The AP.
Denton County sheriff's spokesman Tom Reedy said that authorities found Travis parked in his vehicle, smelling of alcohol and in possession of an open bottle of wine.
He was taken to Denton County jail at approximately 1.30am and released six hours later.
Travis, who claimed that the incident was the result of a Super Bowl celebration, has since apologised for his arrest, insisting that he's "committed to being responsible and accountable".
The star divorced manager wife Elizabeth in October 2010 after 19 years of marriage.
