Ricky Gervais featured in a new commercial which aired during the Super Bowl last night.
The Life's Too Short comedian is seen running from zombies and explosions in the advertisement for Time Warner Cable.
While sitting outside a restaurant, Gervais mocks his much-publicised social networking use, saying: "Friend request? Yes please, let's be friends because you're probably brilliant. Request denied. What are you going to do about it?"
A grenade is then thrown onto his table, before he says: "Grenade. What the -?" He then proceeds to run away while explosions occur in the background.
Weeds star Mary Louise Parker also appears in the commercial working at a florists', before noticing a mass crowd of Walking Dead style zombies, who chase Gervais outside.
He shouts: "OK, I accept your friend request. I was kidding, I was kidding."
Super Bowl XLVI was the most-watched programme in US TV history for NBC last night.
