Denise Welch divorce announcement was brave, says Coleen Nolan

Coleen Nolan has praised her Loose Women co-star Denise Welch's "brave" decision to announce her divorce live on the show.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner confirmed her separation from partner of 23 years Tim Healy following false reports that she was having an affair.
Nolan said she was "relieved" that they could finally come clean about their issues and "be happy in their own separate lives".
"I know why people are so torn about the way Denise announced it on Loose Women," she wrote in The Mirror. "Some people think it was wrong to be so public, but it was really brave of her. Everyone we know thought it was the right decision.
"People will always judge when you are in the public eye, you just have to do what feels right to you. I think she did it now because she didn't want it all coming out like Chinese whispers - one rumour after another on websites and in magazines. This way she could lay it out exactly as she wanted."
Nolan also addressed Welch and Healy's apparently happy display at his 60th birthday party little over a week ago.
"I'm not sure about her and Tim going out together on his birthday last week, holding hands, but I guess that's their way," she said. "They are clearly still the best of friends and it's their business how they decide to live their lives now.
"It was probably a knee-jerk reaction to pose for those pictures. But I saw her the day after she did that and she was clearly stressed out... getting all of this out in the open was the best thing to do."
