Discussing the situation between the pair, who divorced in 2009 after almost four years of marriage, Katona expressed her sympathy for both parties.
Price hit back at Andre last week, after the singer claimed that his ex-wife had attempted to instigate a reunion. However, Andre has since said that he will no longer answer questions about the former glamour model.
"I went to Peter Andre's new coffee shop this week and we've been texting, but Pete hasn't mentioned anything to me about Katie Price asking him to take her back at Christmas," Katona wrote in her latest OK column.
"I love Pete but I feel sorry for Katie because she's never been the same since they split. I don't think she's deluded but she's massively lost in life.
"I can understand her wanting to get back with Pete, it's normal for her to want her family unit back. It's extremely sad that these two people who once adored each other and brought two children into this world continue this public spat."
She continued: "Much like myself and [ex-husband] Brian [McFadden], I'd give anything to be amicable and share the responsibility of our kids, but unfortunately that is not the case. I feel sad for both Peter and Katie."
The 31-year-old previously said that she "can relate" to Price, adding that she feels the 33-year-old is "really insecure and needs a man to love her".
