Her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt explained that despite staying in bed, she could "feel the energy" inside their mansion. He also presented her with a birthday cake during the evening from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
He said: "This night is only a celebration of my wife's life."
Invitations for the party joked that Gabor had lied about her age for several years, according to The Wrap.
They read: "Well it's time to come clean and tell the truth, I can't hide it anymore. Over the years I may have overlooked a year or two (or 20), but not this year."
